So...

I've been really bad at keeping up with the blog lately. It's been crazy busy lately. I have so much to catch up on.

Curved Triangle {Shapes}

We went to a fish fry earlier today. It started to rain so we came home. We did eat and get a chance to walk around a bit. We saw the horses for the horse/tractor pull. That is the only thing we missed. On our walk I came across a church and saw this lovely curved triangle window.

Smoke Art

My friend Chris showed me how to do this and this was my first attempt at creating smoke art with incense. I'm pleased with these ones but there is still room for improvement. I'll post some more after I've practiced a bit. You should check out Chris's @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/cellis/. His smoke images are on the 2nd and 3rd pages right now, they'll bump down when he posts more, but you'll still be able to find them but they are definitely worth looking at. Thanks again for the tips Chris!

Dozer Tracks {Shapes}

You are all probably thinking what shape is this? These are tracks on a dozer that is sitting in our driveway. It is a shape of sorts but what shape I am not sure. I guess you could say lines as lines is a shape. If anyone knows let me know.

Names {Shapes}

One of my favorite snacks is Cheez Its. I saw these in the store and just had to get them for the girls. I'm using them to get them to find letters, spell words and etc. So, today I thought I'd spell their names in a photo. I know I know we are not supposed to play with our food. Just couldn't resist.

Circles & Hearts {Shapes}

As you can see the first photo is a bunch of canning jars which are circular. I know not very exciting but didn't plan too much for today's photo. It was taken in the store while out running a couple errands. Second photo is an aerial that I took yesterday. It looks to me to be the top portion of a heart. This one was taken 1 mile up off the ground above the clouds. Finally the third photo is of the Booe Family Sawmill which is 2.5 miles down the road from us.
